100% of all donations for the 12 month challenge goes to our two charities. In addition a further 10% of all Blue Monkey profits earnt via adventure bookings are split between both charities.

Francis House Childrens Hospice

Francis House Childrens Hospice based in Didsbury, Manchester is a specialist care centre providing support and relief for children with life threatening conditions and their families and friends
Their service is founded on a belief in the sanctity of life and respect for the dignity of every person. Francis House values the understanding, visions and attitudes to life and death of all of the children and families who allow us the privilege of being alongside them through their times of stress, pain and confusion.

The Motor Neurone Disease Association
Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks the upper and lower motor neurones.
Degeneration of the motor neurones leads to weakness and wasting of muscles, causing increasing loss of mobility in the limbs, and difficulties with speech, swallowing and breathing.
The MNDA'S  mission is to fund and promote research to bring about an end to MND. At present they do all that is possible to enable everyone with MND to receive the best care, achieve the highest quality of life possible, and die with dignity. They also do all that is possible to support the families and carers of people with MND.

The Association funds and promotes research to understand what causes MND, how to diagnose it and, most importantly, how to effectively treat it so that it no longer exists.
